I have a problem and I’m not sure I can do anything about it! There is a cure, but, I’m unable to muster the enthusiasm towards it. I’m sure with time I may learn to deal with it, come to let go of it and keep myself away long enough to keep level headed. Thing is I don’t want to turn away, I don’t want to resort to second best, I can’t be persuaded to change my thinking long enough to let the idiosyncrasy alone. I just keep coming back and keep yearning it.
I must admit, I do try and limit myself, knowing it’s not socially acceptable and fronded upon amongst the mainstream. But here I am again pursuing its delights! I know why the mainstream frown on it, but making images is for me, isn’t it? I must keep to my vision, I must keep to my passion and keep the curves doing their magic! I will attempt to recover the highlights, but I will not compromise on the shadows. The dynamic range is overrated and I will persist in chasing contrast, because! Go on unleash your technical fashion on me! One day the tide of the popular will change and I will eventually become vogue! Just like Nick Cave’s seventies suits!
